The rollercoaster I didn't see coming
The charming staff always had smiling faces and were helpful! Great location with numerous parking spots and eateries within walking distance.
Unfortunately, the shower pressure left much to be desired and the various breakfast options were somewhat limited.

close proximity to town, access to bicycle storage, reasonably priced accommodation
Shower pressure a mere trickle, difficult temperature control frustrating!!! Room cleanliness could improve, strange bleach and stale beer smell unpleasant. Sticky floor detracted from overall experience!!!

The staff was supper friendly and very pleasant and the place was clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the good sized room with the window open and the way it was setup. Superb service was provided. We were in a good location not very far from a grade i listed castle.

The breakfast served here is a nice touch, not buffet style but lovely, and the homemade bread adds an extra layer of warmth. The bed was comfortable.
The classic triple room felt cramped, facing a busy road, that opening the windows for air just let in the noise. The shower was disappointingly cold, and the inconsistent heating made the room pretty hot, leading us to leave the windows open. The decor felt outdated with cheap furniture that didn't add much character and lent an uncomfortable vibe to our stay.

The classic triple room was surprisingly basic, with cheap furniture that gave the feeling of a sad afterthought. A mobile air con that woudl ve been nice if it wasn't so noisy. And honestly, i expected some sort of complimentary gesture for having to endure a two-night stay here, but i guess i can't always expect the red carpet treatment.

Stayed here for a night and it was really nice. The room was super clean and had a comfy bed, plenty of space for all of us. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The location was perfect with lots of parking and food places around.
only downside was the shower pressure wasn't that strong and breakfast could've had more options.

Great hospitality in a convenient location
The staff were really accommodating and it felt homey. The location made it easy to explore the town and nearby eateries. The check-in hours were a bit confusing, and it would have been nice to have more flexible breakfast options.

The classic triple room offered a clean environment and comfortable beds. The shower was a letdown with low pressure and inconsistent temperatures were nice. While the dog-friendly policies were appreciated, the restrictions regarding dining areas felt unwelcoming, limiting our experience at meals. The homemade bread served at breakfast added a lovely touch to the morning.
